Fine Art Prints
The expressive fine art print represents the absolute nucleus of my art and craft. While the images on this website may look beautiful on a computer display, only my fine art prints are capable of exuding the light, depth, texture, and delicate nuances of my photographs. I print my color photographs on either Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper or Museo Silver Rag (cotton) with Ultrachrome K3 inks, and I print my black and white photographs on Hahnemühle Photo Rag (cotton) with warm/sepia-tone pure carbon pigment inks. These papers are gold-standard in their class and a perfect complement to my photographs. No print leaves my studio unless it is perfect.
Limited Edition: I offer my larger prints exclusively as numbered and hand signed Limited Editions of 50, 100, or 200 (photograph dependent). When an edition reaches its limit, all prints sales are discontinued for that photograph. All photographs released January 2005 or after are limited to Editions of 50.
Open Edition Mini-Prints: All photographs on this website are now available as 8" Mini-Prints. All rectangular/panoramic photographs are printed to 8" on the their longest side, and square images are printed to 7". Open Edition Mini-Prints are hand-signed and made using the same top-quality archival materials as my Limited Edition prints, and all come mounted/matted and ready to be inserted into off-the-shelf 11x14" frames. Best of all, they're an outstanding value at only $40 each.
Mounting, Matting, Framing: Print sizes up to 24”x30” are mounted on archival/acid-free mounting board, over-matted with archival/acid-free white cotton museum rag, and hand- signed and numbered. Conservation-grade materials are used exclusively throughout, and elegant top quality wood frames (hand-oiled solid walnut) are matched to the photograph. Alternative frame finishes can be arranged by special request.Due to the difficulties of handling, assembling, and shipping large glazed pieces, prints larger than 24”x30” are only available flush-mounted on ¾” Gatorfoam with matte lamination and an inset box frame (top left photo). This frame-less and glazing-free method is a lightweight, attractive, and unique way to display large photographs, and as with my standard wood framing, arrives ready to hang.
All photographs are also available loose or matted for those coordinating their own matting and/or framing.
